“When I’m not dancing, I love exploring NYC, spending time with family and friends, and trying new exercise classes. “
Stevie won the title of Miss Kansas’ Outstanding Teen in the year 2012, and she has served as a positive example in my life ever since. From the moment I saw her, I knew she was going to do big things. Her smile literally radiates Jesus and she is by far one of the most talented dancers I’ve ever met (and incredibly humble!) I’m so honored to call Stevie a role model and friend. Allow me to introduce you to the graceful and gorgeous Stevie Mack!
Name: Stevie Mack
City/State: New York City, but originally from Wichita, KS
Church: My home church is Risen Savior Lutheran Church in Wichita, but now I go to Hillsong NYC. It’s seriously one of the coolest things I’ve discovered here!
When did you make the decision to follow Christ? I decided to accept Christ in Kindergarten, but it wasn’t until middle school that I put my faith into action.
Favorite Bible Verse: Psalm 149:3 “Let them praise his name with dancing and make music to him with timbrel and harp.”
Favorite Book in the Bible: Proverbs because it has 31 chapters, which is perfect to read one chapter a day!
Favorite Bible Character: Ruth is my favorite! I admire her strength and confidence in Christ.
Favorite Christian Artist: Anything Hillsong! Lately it’s been “What A Beautiful Name” and “Behold,” both by Hillsong.
Favorite way to connect with God: Definitely music and daily devotionals. I have some really great daily devotional books that my mom and friends have given to me. I love starting and ending my day with those.
School: I’m currently a junior Commercial Dance major at Pace University in New York City.
Describe your personal style: Classy with a touch of Midwestern roots (Yes, I wear my red cowboy boots here in the city)
What are your hobbies/talents? Does dance count? 🙂 When I’m not dancing, I love exploring NYC, spending time with family and friends, and trying new exercise classes.
What do you think it means to be a Biblical Beauty? I believe it means holding yourself to the highest standards possible, while letting God’s light shine through you.
