I love love. Which automatically means I love Valentine’s Day. Since I was a little girl, I’ve dreamt about receiving flowers and chocolate, slipping on a pretty dress, and going out to a fancy dinner with the one I love. Even though I’m not in that season of life quite yet, I’ve come to the conclusion that I can still celebrate Valentine’s Day with those I love, even if they aren’t my boyfriend or husband! This year especially, I’ve realized how important it is to have a close circle of supportive girlfriends. Part of what makes us so close is that we’re similar and love celebrating the little things in life. Here’s to friendships & Galenetine’s Day: Wichita style!
9:00 AM Start off the day by grabbing morning coffee and going on a walk at Keeper of the Plains. Don’t forget to bundle up!
4:00 PM Recharge and sip some juice downtown at 86 Cold Press. Taking pictures by the cute wall is a must.
5:00 PM Head on over to dinner reservations!! Decide how casual you want to go and choose a restaurant from there.
7:00 PM Decide if you want to go see La La Land for the fifth time at the Warren or watch a chick flick on Netflix at home. Don’t forget the popcorn with extra butter.
10:30 PM Put on a face mask & a pair of slippers, and plop on the couch for some quality conversation. Talk about life, pray for your future, and thank God for your sweet friendship.
